Hearty Huai Sang Soup
Ingredients

Portion Size (6-8 servings)

  • 1 Pork bone (big) 
  • 200g-250g Huai Sang 
  • 1/2 cup Lotus seed
  • 2 tbsp Rolled oats
  • 5 Dried longan
  • 1 Slice of ginger 0.4cm thick
  • 5 pcs Yu zhu
  • 1 Red date
  • 1 tbsp Dried goji berries
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2.5l Water
Procedure
  1. Blanch pork bone by placing it into a pot of cold water and bring to boil. Let boil for 5 minutes for impurities to surface. Discard water and rinse the bone.
  2. Place bone and all ingredients except salt into a pot.
  3. Boil for 1.5 hour and then season with salt.
  4. Serve soup with some ingredients.
