Japanese Oats Hamburger Steak

  Ingredients
              Patty
- 2 tbsp quick cook Quaker oats
 - 20g milk
 - 130g grounded lean beef
 - 1/4 of a medium onion (chopped)
 - 1/2 egg
 - 1/2 tsp grounded black pepper
 - 1/2 tsp salt
 
Sauce
- 35g worcestershire
 - 55g ketchup
 - 50g water
 - 1 tbsp water
 
Garnish
- 1 tbsp of grated radish
 - 1 sliced spring onion
 
Procedure
              - Soak oats in milk for 10 minutes or longer.
 - In a pot, add a drizzle of oil and fry 2/3 of the onion till golden brown.
 - Add all the onion, egg, black pepper, salt and oats (with remaining milk) to the minced beef and mix until homogeneous. Leave it to marinate for 10 minutes before shaping.
 - Shape the meat into an oval shape.
 - Heat pan to high and add oil until smoking. Place patty into the pan, reduce heat to medium high and let cook for 3 minutes per side.
 - While cooking, prepare the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
 - Once hamburger steak is cooked, remove from the pan. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan. Reduce fire to medium heat and cook the sauce until it has a syrupy consistency.
 - Grate radish, squeezing out the liquid and rinsing again with cold water. Squeeze dry again and from into a hemisphere.
 - Slice spring onion length wise and put into cold water.
 - Place hamburger steak onto a serving plate, sauce over it and garnish with radish and spring onion.
