Nutty Fruity Oatmeal

Ingredients

Ingredients:

- ¾ cup of Quaker® Rolled Oats

- ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon

- ¼ cup of fresh berries

- Pinch of sea salt

Optional toppings:

- ½ piece of ripe banana, sliced

- 2 teaspoons of chopped nuts, such as walnuts, pecans, or cashews

- 2 teaspoons of dried/chopped fruits, such as raisins, cranberries, apples, apricots - Maple syrup, to taste.

Procedure

1. Combine the oats and 1½ cups water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat.

2. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook until the water has been absorbed for about 5 minutes.

3. Stir in the cinnamon and salt. Top with berries or other toppings as you like, such as bananas, nuts, and/or dried fruit. If desired, pour a little maple syrup on top. Serve hot.
